All of the work contained here was done for my Multimedia 213 Basic Multimedia Authoring class at Bradley University. In this class we learned how to integrate Adobe Flash into websites. To view entire projects in a new window, please click on the screenshots.

For our final project in MM213: Introduction to Flash Authoring, we had to make a full Flash website that integrated video and audio into it and that was based on an issue we felt strongly about. At the time, I was just beginning to build a website for Bradley University's Darfur Relief Week and my professor agreed that if I could meet all of the guidelines for the project that I could use it for my final. For the overall design, I decided to use red, black, and white since red and white are Bradley's official colors. The menu to the left of the page is a rolldown menu that has more options when you mouse over them. The first page shown here was a standard design for most of the text-intensive pages. These are loaded externally from simple text documents. The next photo is of the Photos page which displayed all of the photos we had taken throughout Relief Week of the various events we had going on. The entire photos area was a seperate Flash file which was loaded when the user went to the page. The last photo is of the Videos page which had clips from throughout the week at various events. All of these videos were shot and edited by me in Final Cut Pro.
This project was done to learn how to create a Flash player for websites. We had to make a video about our worst fear, so I chose to use being kidnapped. I shot the video with a few friends and used Creative Commons audio.
This assignment was an exercise in making a Flash audio player. We had to conduct several interviews with people over a topic of our choosing and use those clips to create the player. I chose to use the topic of whether or not there should be communication censorship.
The goal of this assignment was to write a set of tips for something we considered ourselves to be experts at. I chose to use Creative Writing. When you click on the tips they appear in the textbox at the bottom of the left page.
For this assignment we had to make a Flash animation of a way that we have grown. I chose to take this assignment literally and used a baby crawling and then walking and turning into an adult. The animation goes forwards or backwards depending on whether or not you hover over the person.
For our first project in the class we were supposed to make a simple one frame flash video of something that we liked. I chose to use music and included a collage of photos of various musical items.
