Winter Dew Tour Motion Graphic Commercial

This was a short 2 1/2-D motion graphic I made as a demo commercial/bumper for the Alli Action Sports Winter Dew Tour. The photos used were from sxc.hu stock footage site and I did the animation for using Adobe AfterEffects. It won "Best Overall" at the iBradley Media Festival in 2009.

For the design of the piece, I knew I wanted to use a bright green, since the tour was founded by Mountain Dew. I chose to stick to green, black, and white because I didn't want to have too much color on it, since I knew I wanted the piece to move quickly and have a lot of other elements in it. I chose the font because I wanted it to have a very urban, edgy feel to it, while still being readable and not overbearing.
