These are some select examples of my video production, writing, and editing work, as well as some projection design. Some of the work show was done for theatrical productions, as personal projects, or while interning at the Iona Group in Morton, IL. If you are interested in having me shoot and/or edit a video or film of any kind for you, please let me know by emailing me at amandaATamandano2.com (be sure to replace AT with @) and I will get back to you within three days. I am especially interested in projection design, music videos or experimental work.

'10 Ways To Kill Yourself' is a dark comedy short about a man who has decided to end his life, but he just can't seem to get it quite right and continually messes it up. I came up with the idea for the story as part of my video production class and this was created as my final project with three other students. The video was shot over a period of about three to four weeks and I did all of the post production for it, as well as the scriptwriting, shot listing, scheduling, and producing. 10 Ways To Kill Yourself won first place at the iBradley Media Festival in Spring 2008 in the Video category.
This was a music video made in one of my video production classes to the song "Some Postman" by the Presidents of the United States of America. I was the group leader and came up with the idea, framed most of the shots, and did editing and color correction. The video was shot using three different cameras simultaneously to reduce the shooting time.
